Welcome to the home page of Itsekiri Association of Canada, a non-profit entity located in Toronto, Ontario. Itsekiri Association of Canada is the umbrella organization of all provincial and territorial Itsekiri associations in Canada.
Our mission is to:
*Promote the awareness, language acquisition and understanding of Itsekiri culture
through social, educational, ethics, arts/ arts preservation and other targeted activities.
*Promote a sense of community for Itsekiris and all those interested in the Itsekiri culture.
*Provide guidance towards the promotion of peace and tranquility among Itsekiri indigenes and
their neighbors at home and abroad
*Promote the economic, sociopolitical advancement of Itsekiri people through self-sustenance
and fair control of it's natural resources.

On the 12th of December 2015, the Itsekiris crowned the 20th Olu (king) of Warri
and kudos to the itsekiris, who continue to be extremely proud and committed to the
uniqueness of the Olu of Warri
